Get ready for a cookie that is pure nostalgia in every bite. Our Sourdough S’mores Cookies are a multi-layered masterpiece designed for those who love a thick, gooey, and indulgent treat. We use our sourdough starter to create a unique, soft-baked texture that is rich and satisfying, without the sour tang—just pure, deep flavor.
Each cookie is built from the ground up to mimic the perfect fireside snack:
The Foundation: Every cookie sits atop a crisp graham cracker square, providing that essential honey-wheat crunch.
The Gooey Core: A large, fluffy marshmallow is nestled in the center, which melts during baking into a stretchy, toasted "cloud."
The Finish: We smother the marshmallow with our signature chocolate chip cookie dough. As it bakes, the dough envelopes the marshmallow, creating a golden, chewy shell loaded with melty semi-sweet chocolate chips.
Why Sourdough?
Even though these aren't tangy, the sourdough process works its magic behind the scenes. It creates a complex, "malted" flavor profile that balances the sweetness of the marshmallow and chocolate, while making the cookie exceptionally soft.
The "Gooey" Guide
To get that authentic, toasted-marshmallow stretch, we recommend popping these in the microwave for 8–10 seconds before eating. It softens the graham cracker base and turns the center into a molten s'mores dream.
